From my bipolar brain to yours… you do not have to justify your illness to anyone including your family. Educating them in order for them to properly support you through this rollercoaster ride may, in fact, prove to be helpful. Yet I hope you know you are not alone in this journey. I have bipolar disorder too. It’s a nightmare yet a beautiful superpower- as you so lovingly put it.
